How the £999 Fusion deal works

Two combinations are covered. The Fusion in Polished Chrome with a PRO3 tank is £999, and the same tap with a COMBI tank is £1,299. Both have to be a complete new system, so owning a tank already rules you out. The offer terms also leave out other finishes and tank types, loose accessories, replacement parts and anything added to an existing installation.

Buying direct is a condition

Retailers, kitchen studios, independent installers and other resellers are all excluded, which matters if your kitchen designer normally orders appliances for you. The terms name Quooker's website, telephone, email and virtual appointments as valid routes, whereas the offer page itself mentions only the consultation, so booking that is the safer choice.

PRO3, COMBI or CUBE: pick the tank first

The tank decides what comes out of the tap. PRO3 gives boiling water and nothing else. COMBI adds hot water, listed at 40°C to 60°C, and runs from a cold supply alone. A CUBE is the one with filtered, chilled and sparkling water.

Tap choice moves the price too. Quooker lists Fusion and Flex, the one with a pull out hose, from £1,250, Nordic twintaps from £1,300, and the Front tap, which puts hot and cold controls on the spout, from £1,400. A single Classic Nordic starts at £1,050. Since the anniversary deal covers only the two combinations above, it saves money when one of them is what you wanted anyway.

Installation checks before you book

Quooker's engineers and partners can fit the system, though a plumber, a builder or you can do it instead, and the installation criteria say a plumber isn't required. The cupboard needs a 13 amp socket, hot and cold water within 50cm of the installation location and at least 2 bar of pressure.

A CUBE wants a ventilation opening of about 20cm by 20cm, with 10cm clear behind and 2cm each side. Under a Flex tap, leave at least 500mm of depth and 200mm of width. If a service visit is booked, an adult aged 18 or over has to be at home.

Delivery and returns

On the shipping and returns page, UPS brings orders in 5 to 7 working days, either to your door or to a UPS Access Point. Spend £50 or more and delivery is free; below that it's £5. Unwanted or incorrect items can go back within 14 days of delivery using a return label. Who pays the return postage isn't stated, so ask Quooker before posting anything.

Warranty and upkeep

Every product has a two-year warranty. Register it through a My Quooker account, which keeps serial numbers and service history together. On running costs, Quooker publishes one figure: 515 kWh a year for a COMBI tank under the regulatory usage pattern, with an A energy label and 10 watts on standby.

The tank has a carbon filter that improves taste, though it isn't a limescale filter, and hard water areas may call for descaling or a Scale Control R. Boiling water needs a push, push, turn of the bezel, a design Quooker says stops children and first time users releasing it by accident.
